COMFWB and Ethiopia's MOTRI, led by Chairperson Maureen Sumbwe and State Minister Yasmine Wohabrebbi, held a press conference to announce the 6th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference, taking place in Addis Ababa in May 2025 during COMESA Week. The event, themed "A Thriving COMESA Through Gender-Responsive Regional Integration," aims to empower women and youth entrepreneurs across 21 COMESA member states. It will address challenges like limited access to finance and markets, and will feature networking, B2B interactions, knowledge sharing, and business pitching, solidifying COMFWB's role in promoting women's integration into regional trade and development.

COMFWB and Ethiopia's Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MOTRI) convened a preparatory meeting on the Public Awareness events to promote the 6th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference. The meeting discussions were focused on logistical planning, Regional delegation coordination, business conference agendas, award presentations, and public awareness strategies. Discussions between State Minister Yasmin Wohabrebi and COMFWB Chairperson Maureen Sumbwe centered on ensuring a successful event.

La Chambre Nationale des Femmes Chefs d’Entreprises (COMFWB) Tunisie a activement participé à un atelier national organisé les 3 et 4 décembre dernier, en collaboration avec le Secrétariat du COMESA et le gouvernement tunisien. Cet événement avait pour objectif principal de sensibiliser les femmes et les jeunes aux opportunités offertes par le commerce intra-régional et de les encourager à s'y engager activement.
