Eritrean Women Agribusiness Association (EWAA) was established in 2003 and officially registered as a national organization under the umbrella of the ministry of agriculture in 2013. The organisation's vision is to create an export oriented, well organized sub-sector based agribusiness association with the objective of contributing to the food security program of the nation and improvement of the livelihood of women engaged in agribusiness. The association has a total number of 158 members from all zobas in different sub-sectors like bee keeping, poultry, fruits and vegetables, grain and dairy processing, amongst others.

The Regional Enterprise Competitiveness and Access to Markets programme (RECAMP) is about boosting participation of the private sector in regional and global value chains. The programme does this through the improvement of the investment and business climate and enhanced competitiveness in the COMESA region.
COMFWB Eritrea Chapter held the RECAMP workshop in Asmara. 30 women entrepreneurs from five regions of Eritrea including Anseba, Debub, Gash-Barka, Maekel, and Northern Red Sea regions. The trainer delivered content to COMFWB members with different levels of educational background ranging from elementary to Masters Degree.
The sectors that attended were agriculture, handicrafts and leather products, fishery and horticulture.
