The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) is seeking experienced consultants to develop its 2026-2030 Medium Term Strategic Plan (MTSP). This comes as their current 2021-2025 plan, which focused on strengthening institutional and financial capacity, concludes this year. A 2024 assessment of the current plan highlighted that while institutional capacity has improved, significant challenges remain, particularly in financial capacity to support National Chapters and program development, and in resource mobilization. The new MTSP will need to address these issues, building on lessons learned. The consultancy's scope of work involves a comprehensive process, including analyzing recommendations from the current plan's review, engaging extensively with stakeholders like National Chapters and Board members, conducting a SWOT analysis, and drafting a detailed MTSP with strategic goals, a logical framework, implementation plan, and monitoring and evaluation framework. The consultant will also lead widespread consultations for feedback and present the final plan by September 30, 2025. COMFWB is seeking firms or individuals with at least ten years of experience in strategic planning and program evaluation, strong facilitation skills, and a master's degree in a relevant field.
