The COMFWB Kenya Chapter was established in 2022. The Federation serves as an efficient conduit for joint programs and initiatives for women in business. By developing long-lasting collaborations and networks with other women in business in the COMESA region, COMFWB Kenya will ensure the harmonization of cross-sectoral concerns and direct effect at policy making levels.

The Regional Enterprise Competitiveness and Access to Markets programme (RECAMP) is about boosting participation of the private sector in regional and global value chains. The programme does this through the improvement of the investment and business climate and enhanced competitiveness in the COMESA region.
The COMFWB Kenya Chapter, Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Association (FEWA) hosted the RECAMP training workshop, a total of 17 women entrepreneurs completed the training. The training was demand driven and participants applied to be considered for selection. After the training, there was high demand from other members who are willing to pay for the same RECAMP training. This confirms the demand for skills in trans-border trading is highly beneficial.
Facilitation approaches included both theory and practice. 17 participants were trained on internationalization and access to finance.
