Advancing Economic Diplomacy and Women’s Leadership in the DRC

On August 11, 2026, a delegation from the National Committee of Women Entrepreneurs at the Federation of Enterprises of the Congo (FEC), led by Vice President Aline Kimputu together with Carine Ndaya Banza Cherubala and Jeffine Ngombe, was granted an audience with H.E. Ms. Noëlla Ayeganagato Nakwipone, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Our strategic dialogue focused on three critical levers for sustainable growth:

  • Structuring Female Entrepreneurship: Building sustainable frameworks for women-led enterprises in the DRC.
  • Diaspora Mobilization: Driving cross-border capital and expertise to accelerate domestic development.
  • International Engagement: Preparing for the 3rd Congolese Student Entrepreneur Trade Fair in Brussels (October 14–16, 2026).

COMFWB DRC extended its gratitude to Her Excellency for her institutional backing. The commitment to mobilize DRC’s diplomatic missions across Europe and integrate technical cooperation services represents a significant milestone in positioning Congolese talent on the global stage.

They look forward to convening partners, investors, and policymakers in Brussels this October to champion the next wave of business leaders.
