On 6 August 2026, the COMFWB Secretariat, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy and ZIM-USA Business Connect, successfully convened an Entrepreneurship Roundtable in Harare, Zimbabwe. The high-level forum brought together development institutions, private sector leaders, and emerging entrepreneurs to establish practical pathways for strengthening trade and investment flows between Africa and the United States.
The strategic dialogue focused on actionable solutions for market access, innovative financing mechanisms, and the critical role of the private sector in accelerating bilateral economic cooperation.

Executive contributions were led by Ms. Melinda Crowley (Councillor for Public Diplomacy, U.S. Embassy), Dr. Edna Mukurazhizha (Chapter Chairperson, COMFWB Zimbabwe), and Dr. Patrick Mateta (Chairperson, ZIM-USA Business Connect).
