On August 3, 2026, the Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar (GFEM) participated in a targeted B2B business matchmaking session at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront in Antananarivo, connecting Malagasy women-led businesses with a visiting delegation of South African enterprises.
During the event, Malagasy entrepreneurs showcased their companies, products, and value propositions. Discussions focused on key high-potential sectors—including spices, handicrafts, agrifood, and textiles—paving the way for strategic commercial partnerships and cross-border trade between the two nations.
GFEM extends its sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, as well as His Excellency the Ambassador of Madagascar to South Africa, for their invaluable support in bringing this initiative to fruition.
