‘Gourmandise’ is a French word that means “Gluttony”.

Gourmandise was founded by a passionate woman by the name of Souad Kammoun, who started her business of making Tunisian traditional pastry and cakes. She was originally from the city of Sfax, east of Tunisia.

Her business was founded in 1976 and is considered to be one of the significant pastry leaders in Tunisia.

Today, Gourmandise is an SME with 600 employees, 30 million Tunisian dinars ($9.7million) turnover, 27 shops spread over the Tunisian territory.

Radhia Kammoun, its current CEO, wants to make of Gourmandise an international business as its customers have increased worldwide.

Gourmandise is a brand that keeps its promises. The quality and customers’ satisfaction are at the core of its strategy. In fact, the ingredients used for the manufacture of traditional cakes are selected with the greatest care in order to offer consistency in quality and services.

In addition to the successive certifications (ISO 9001 (2008) and ISO 22000 (2005)) to which Gourmandise has conformed; they guarantee the traceability of the raw material used throughout the value chain.

Gourmandise and its CEO Mrs. Radhia Kammoun have proved to be an outstanding example of persistence and determination to all Tunisian women in all fields of entrepreneurship. She is deemed a reference at the Tunisian National Chamber of Women in Business (CNFCE).
