COMFWB Delegates Meet Malagasy Officials to Discuss Upcoming Trade Fair A delegation from the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) met with Malagasy government officials to discuss preparations for the 5th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference, scheduled for June 2024. The delegation discussed the COMFWB's mission to promote women entrepreneurship and the potential of the trade fair to foster economic growth and stimulate trade within the COMESA Region.

The 5th COMESA Federation of Women in Business Trade Fair and Business Conference is happening June 28-29, 2024 in Antananarivo, Madagascar! It's the biggest gathering of women entrepreneurs from COMESA's 21 member states.

COMFWB launched an awareness campaign for its 5th Trade Fair and Business Conference in Madagascar. The meeting attracted support from government officials, businesses, and international organizations. COMFWB hopes to secure financial and technical partnerships through this event.

COMFWB held a general assembly in Kigali, Rwanda on February 20, 2024. All members states attended. The meeting aimed to strengthen COMFWB's legal framework and support for women in business. Mr. CHIKAKULA Miti was appointed the new COMFWB CEO. The 5th COMESA Federation of Women in Business Trade Fair and Business Conference is confirmed to take place in Madagascar in June 2024.
