On August 13, 2026, COMFWB Malawi, in partnership with the Graça Machel Trust, held a consultative workshop under the Women Creating Wealth Intergenerational Edition (WCW-I) Programme. The workshop brought together government and financial-sector stakeholders to assess advocacy efforts from 2023–2026 and their impact on policy and structural change. Key areas included women’s economic empowerment policy reform, improved public procurement access for women-led businesses, capacity building, and media visibility. Stakeholders validated achievements, identified systemic gaps, and developed recommendations to strengthen long-term economic inclusion for women entrepreneurs.

COMFWB Delegates Meet Malagasy Officials to Discuss Upcoming Trade Fair A delegation from the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) met with Malagasy government officials to discuss preparations for the 5th COMFWB Trade Fair and Business Conference, scheduled for June 2024. The delegation discussed the COMFWB's mission to promote women entrepreneurship and the potential of the trade fair to foster economic growth and stimulate trade within the COMESA Region.
The 5th COMESA Federation of Women in Business Trade Fair and Business Conference is happening June 28-29, 2024 in Antananarivo, Madagascar! It's the biggest gathering of women entrepreneurs from COMESA's 21 member states.
