The 3rd edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2023) which was held in Cairo Egypt, from November 9-15, 2023 was a success. IATF 2023 provided market access of $43bn and Platform for networking, Business to Business Linkages and Exchanges of business.
COMFWB held a general assembly in Kigali, Rwanda on February 20, 2024. All members states attended. The meeting aimed to strengthen COMFWB's legal framework and support for women in business. Mr. CHIKAKULA Miti was appointed the new COMFWB CEO. The 5th COMESA Federation of Women in Business Trade Fair and Business Conference is confirmed to take place in Madagascar in June 2024.
